Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Development, support the overall objectives of the Development Department and team on a national level. Providing administrative support to the Director of Development in an efficient, effective and professional manner. Creating, revising and distributing correspondence and materials as instructed. Assisting with emails, phone calls, typed letters and handwritten correspondence. Organizing and attending meetings with the Development Director preparing anddistributing meeting minutes as needed. Serving as a liaison for the Development Director coordinating invitations and visits for guests, planning and executing luncheons and other special functions. Assisting Director in updating notes and retrieving pertinent information via the Raisers Edge database. Assisting Director with copying, organizing and filing documents maintaining efficient filing systems both digital and hard copy. Maintaining and update Development documents as needed. Processing monthly expense reports and VISA reconciliation for Director. Booking conference registrations and making travel arrangements for Director. Ordering products and office supplies. Assisting in the scheduling, planning, implementation and necessary follow-up of appropriate meetings and events. Coordinating and maintaining calendars. Completing other assigned duties and departmental projects as assigned by the Directorof Development.
Skills Required
1 yr of experience as an administrative assistant. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Must be detail oriented, committed to accuracy, and a team player. Must have a strong sense of confidentiality.
Skills Preferred
Working knowledge of Raisers Edge helpful.
