Job Description
Supervises designated employees communicates expectations monitors and appraises job results counsels and disciplines as needed provides appropriate training and development interviews applicants and selects new employees monitors attendance. Responsible for daily inventory accuracy at all levels utilizing cycle counts of raw materials, finished and semi-finished goods. Determines group priorities to achieve maximum efficiency and minimum turnaround time to support manufacturing process. Understands all stockroomwarehouse duties and processes. Collaborates with other departments to determine kitting priorities Reviews effectiveness of operating procedures Specs, space utilization, and protection of equipment. Monitors departments work output for efficiency. Improves security and tracking of inventory through process and procedure verification, system review and transaction documentation. Performs employee performance reviews. Ensures all stockroomwarehouse clerks are properly trained in all areas. Ensures all received chemicals and chemical samples have an MSDS attached and labels the chemicals with the proper hazard ratings. Knows and follows the companys human resources policies and procedures. Adheres to applicable employment laws. Exemplifies and fosters teamwork within the company. Promptly responds to concerns, issues, and suggestions and acts to ensure positive employee relations. Regular attendance is required. May occasionally be required to work overtime.
Skills Required
Associate Degree. 5+ yrs related stockroom experience, including supervision. Electronic Manufacturing experience. Computer literate using Microsoft Office, Word Excel. Experience with Oracle MRP systems. Effective communication skills.
Skills Preferred
BS Degree preferred.
