| Job Description The Job Cost Analyst is responsible for processing, maintaining, analyzing and monitoring materials, labor and other cost attributed to jobs including but not limited to, managing payroll functions, maintaining job cost accounting system and providing accounting information. Plan, study and collect data to determine costs of job activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor Manage payroll function Calculate hours worked for each employee on each job record on payroll ledger according to workers compensation codes calculate prevailing wages Update prevailing wage rates and Cal-Trans equipment rates accordingly and update estimate worksheets with changes Calculate day labor hours on each job, record, and submit information to company weekly Calculate daily job sheets Labor, Equipment, Subs, etc. and make necessary copies for job files. Print out pay period time cards weekly timesheets, daily timesheets, mechanic logs, inventory logs, etc. Prepare all payroll records and transfer hours weekly to Bookkeeper Manage company cost tracking, reporting and control systems. | |
| Skills Required HS Diploma or GED. ClericalData Entry experience. AR, Billing and Job Costing experience. Must know Prevailing Wage and accounting experience in the Construction industry. Proficient in Excel. | |
| Skills Preferred College level courses OR BABA degree in Business, Administration or Accounting. | |
