| Job Description Looking for a Shop ManagerFacilities Manager. Assign tasks and follow through to completion. Planning schedule to ensure work gets done on time. Oversee shipping and receiving to make sure there is adequate coverage when and where needed to handle daily UPS and freight shipments. Monitor andor perform in house machining services. Make sure new transaxle kits are pulled and prepped for assembly. See that transmissions in for service are stripped and cleaned for inspection. Perform transaxle service and repair when necessary. Help ensure deilvery deadlines are met. Stay abreast of daily orders to plan workflow. Attend trade shows and motorsports events. Available for customer support on the phone and online. Perform quality control including measuring and fitting as necessary. Machine prototype pieces. Machine tooling as necessary. Modification and assembly when needed. Service and maintain machines and equipment. Order tooling, spares, and consumables as needed. | |
| Skills Required Strong mechanical background with knowledge of tools and machining. Basic computer skills. Some management experience to lead a team of 4 employees. Detailed oriented and able to multi-task. Great communication skills both written and verbal. | |
