PART TIME HR GENERALIST
Job Description
Recruitment activities, including crafting job postings, screening resume submissions, interviewing candidates, coordinating office visit interviews, checking references, coordinating selection process and negotiating offers of employment . Preparing payroll. Conducting onboarding and off-boarding activities . Assisting with benefits administration . Making compensation recommendations to ensure parity. Coordinating with HR and Payroll provider in maintaining the Employee Handbook, and updating for regulations and business practices. Keeping abreast of HR legal compliance issues, and ensure compliance . Assisting in company event planning . Other special projects, as assigned.
Skills Required
Degree in HR or related field. HR and payroll processing experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Skills Preferred
Paychex experience a plus.
