| Job Description Reporting to the Director of Quality and Patient Safety, the Patient Safety Coordinator independently leads and manages the organizations patient safety program. The role of this position is to promote and advance a culture of safety and a just culture in order to maintain optimal patient outcomes and reduce the likelihood of medical errors. Must be able to work in a fast paced, acute care hospital environment. There is minimal exposure to infection andor hazardous materials in this position. | |
| Skills Required RN License in the State of CA. BSN or BA in Healthcare Administration or similar field. 1 yr of exp in Patient Safety or Risk Management in the acute care environment OR 4 yrs of exp in Patient Safety or Risk Management and must obtain BA win 2 years. | |
| Skills Preferred Certification in Patient Safety or Risk Management is desirable. Must be able to work normalscheduled working hours to include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call. | |
