| Job Description Reporting to the Vice President of Patient Care Services C.N.E., the Stroke Sepsis Program Coordinator is directly responsible for managing the stroke and sepsis programs and ensuring excellence in clinical practice. The expert nurse provides leadership and coordination of evidence-based practice EBP from research and standards of care to drive measures of success outcomes. The coordinator will measure outcomes for the sepsis and stroke populations and monitor patient and family satisfaction. The Coordinator drives the organization to achieve and maintain Stroke Center Designation. Must be able to work normalscheduled working hours to include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours. | |
| Skills Required Masters, PhD or DNP Degree. RN License in the state of CA. 3-5 years acute care clinical experience. | |
| Skills Preferred Specialty nursing certification preferred but required within 1 year of hire. Strong clinical background in critical care or emergency department nursing. | |
